Man released on bail after car collides with people outside bar
A man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a car collided with a number of people outside a bar in County Down, has been released on bail.
Two people were seriously injured in the incident on Main Street in Millisle shortly after 23:00 BST on Saturday. It was reported that, after the collision, the car turned around and drove past the bar again before making off from the scene. The vehicle was found a short time later outside Walkers Lane in the town and a 47-year-old was arrested.
He was held on suspicion of attempted murder and driving offences, but has now been released on bail for further enquiries to be carried out.
